By placing an order through our website, you agree to these general terms and conditions. We recommend that you read these terms carefully.
1. Definitions
- Customer: the natural or legal person who enters into an agreement with Elegant Decorium.
- Agreement: the distance agreement between Elegant Decorium and the customer concerning the purchase of products.
- Products: the items that Elegant Decorium offers through its website.

2. Applicability
These conditions apply to all offers from Elegant Decorium and to all agreements concluded between Elegant Decorium and the customer. Deviations from these conditions are only valid if explicitly agreed upon in writing.
3. Offer and agreement
All offers on our website are non-binding and can be changed as long as they have not been accepted by the customer. An agreement is concluded when the customer places an order and Elegant Decorium confirms it in writing by e-mail.
Elegant Decorium reserves the right to refuse an order or request additional information, for example in case of suspected fraud or incorrect customer data.
4. Prices
All prices on the website are in euros and include VAT, unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are not included in the product prices and are shown separately at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices, but the price that applied at the time of your order remains applicable to that order.
5. Payment
Payment must be made when placing the order via the payment methods offered on the website. Elegant Decorium accepts, among others, iDEAL, credit card, Bancontact, and PayPal. In case of late payment, the customer is legally in default and Elegant Decorium has the right to cancel the order.
6. Delivery
Elegant Decorium strives to deliver orders within the delivery times stated on the website. Stated delivery times are indicative and do not entitle the customer to compensation or dissolution of the agreement if exceeded, unless the delay is unreasonably long.
The risk of damage or loss of products rests with Elegant Decorium until the moment of delivery to the customer or a third party designated by the customer.
7. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receiving the product, without stating reasons. You must report this via info@elegantdecorium.nl. After notification, you have another 14 days to return the product. The return costs are for the customer, unless the product is defective or delivered incorrectly.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are custom-made or specially ordered for the customer.
8. Warranty and complaints
Elegant Decorium guarantees that the delivered products comply with the agreement, the specifications stated in the offer, and the reasonable requirements of soundness. Complaints about delivered products must be reported within 48 hours of receipt via info@elegantdecorium.nl, with a clear description and photos of the problem.
We strive to handle complaints within 5 working days.
9. Liability
Elegant Decorium is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, or loss of profit resulting from the use of our products or services. The liability of Elegant Decorium is in all cases limited to the amount paid for the relevant product.
10. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights with regard to the website, images, texts, and other content belong to Elegant Decorium. It is not permitted to reproduce or disclose this content without written permission.
11. Personal data

12. Applicable law and disputes
All agreements between Elegant Decorium and the customer are exclusively governed by Dutch law. Disputes will initially be attempted to be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, they will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. As a consumer, you also have the option to submit a complaint via the ODR platform of the European Commission: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
13. Changes
Elegant Decorium reserves the right to change these general terms and conditions. Amended terms and conditions apply to orders placed after the date of publication.
