We are pleased to introduce these beautiful wooden acoustic panels, with the added benefit of superior sound absorption. Each panel is covered with veneer, preserving the natural color and grain variations of the wood.

Acoustic felt

Annoyed by neighbours? Problems with poor acoustics are a major issue in many spaces, but with a slatted wall or ceiling, you create acoustic well-being for yourself and those around you. Sound consists of waves, and when sound hits a hard surface, it continues to bounce around the room, creating reverberation.

However, the acoustic panels break and absorb sound waves when they hit the felt and slats. This prevents the sound from reflecting back into the room, ultimately eliminating reverberation.

Our acoustic felt is made from recycled plastic bottles, turning a waste product into something useful and beautiful. The felt absorbs sound waves and dampens sound. Our panels are certified for this. If in doubt, you can request the test reports.

Slats

Additionally, the core of the slat consists of a medium-density fiberboard. The slats provide diffusion, meaning they break sound waves and thus dampen the sound.

Moreover, all wood we use comes from sustainable forestry, ensuring that the forest can produce more trees than are harvested.

Applicable spaces

Wooden acoustic panels fit perfectly into various interiors, both as wall and ceiling finishes. Use them as decoration for room fragments or as furniture decoration. There are no limits to the use of acoustic panels.

Installation

The panels are easy to shape as desired and very easy to install. These Aku-panels can be applied using our high-quality high tack adhesive sealant or with screws.

For most people, installing the panels is a simple and enjoyable DIY project. The panels can be easily cut to size with almost any saw and attached with screws through the felt.

End strips available

For a neat and professional finish, matching end strips are also available in the same color as the panels. These allow you to finish the sides sleekly and stylishly for a complete final result.
